• Nepaese-OD is a prodrug that is a potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
• The mechanism of action of Nepaese-OD is the rapid penetration of the cornea which inhibits the activity of COX-1 and COX-2 which consequently inhibits the production of prostaglandins.
• Therefore treats Post-operative pain and inflammation associated with cataract surgery and reduces the risk of Cystoid Macular Edema (CME).
